Roof-mounted Solar PV systems can be costly to access due to their location
Quite often scaffolding systems or Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, (MEWP’s), are required to access the systems safely, and of course, along with the plant and equipment comes risk and cost.
To carry out simple visual inspections to identify any slipped or broken panels it is much cheaper and cost-effective to carry out these inspections by drone. A drone flight inspection can also be a useful tool for pre-site surveys to enable the correct access equipment to be specified for larger Solar PV works.
C Gascoigne Ltd are a licensed drone operator with the Civil Aviation Authority, (CAA), and has full insurance. This enables us to offer a simple visual roof survey to our customers identifying the above problems quickly and cheaply.
