- If you have multiple inverters on the system, which are all heading toward the end of their serviceable life, it can be cost-effective and more efficient to carry out a blanket inverter replacement. This way, any monitoring systems can be aligned. Sometimes space can be a premium and this also must be taken into consideration before any multiple inverter swap outs.
- New modern inverters quite often have many more tracking points than older units. This allows for much more flexibility when retrofitting to older installations and can sometimes reduce the quantity required and thus make significant savings against like for like swapping.
